I try to stick to smaller fleets, but sometimes when you're chilling in public voice channels people just trickle in and things get blobby. I currently live in thera and pvp with my corpies or groups like furnace whenever good holes show up.

I'm not gonna lie man, it felt like bait, I don't hide my mains name, one look on the kb and you'd instantly know that I don't f1 monkey, not anymore at least. But then again, we did more low-sec piracy than null-sec warfare. That said, one of the corporations I was in was really good, and I made a lot of friends there. It was much more challenging, and I felt like I was in control of my destiny. Once wormholes came out, I left null-sec and never returned, splitting my time between them and doing empire space piracy. I realized that I was a fool for buying into the whole "grind iskies to lose them in PvP" lie sold to me by the EVE version of the 1%.

Getting into a standard fit, and then hitting a single key to attack a broadcasted target for two hours didn't seem like a stimulating end-game experience to me. It was generic, thought-less PvP combat, in big fleet that felt impersonal, and often downright patronizing. It took some time, but I did realize that I was basically living (or rather playing) a lie. I literally went straight in there on my second day. I did null-sec stuff for the first couple of years after starting the game. But then again, we did more low-sec piracy than null-sec warfare anyway. Although I do enjoy hanging out in NPC null-sec regions occasionally I realized that I was a fool for buying into the whole "grind iskies to lose them in PvP" lie sold to me by the EVE version of the 1%, who were the true beneficiaries of space ownership. It was a generic, thought-less PvP combat experience, in big fleets that felt impersonal, and hand-holding that felt downright patronizing. It took some time, but I realized that I was basically living (or rather playing) a lie. It's meant to be sardonic, but it's definitely not bait. You've been playing this game for 15 years right? Sounds to me like youve wasted too many of them. The fact that you used the word "griefer" in your post makes you about as credible as a PvPer as a high-sec miner anyway. Sounds like something that someone who constantly needs to be told what to do and what to think would say. Originally posted by Shotgun:Okay boomer. Who the hell is your main anyway, I wanna see what this "killing people for fun and profit as a pirate/mercenary/et cetera." looks like. Honestly, nice bait, I genuinely laughed. Tell you what, you regale me with your war stories about all the battles you had fighting as an unpaid redcoat in someone else's wars, while I kill people for fun and profit as a pirate/mercenary/et cetera. You also have stuff like ess and bubble mechanics. Ns has groups that give genuinely fun fights like optm, lorde, phorde, brave occasionally, and delve is wild, some of my best moments in eve were in t5z. hs is for rvb style pvp or suicide gankers or griefers, fw lowsec is good for controlled fights in plexes and ♥♥♥♥, but outside of that, ls is pretty dry pvp wise. Ns is the best for pvp in comparison to ls or hs. Originally posted by Who's Red:If by content you mean pvp content, then I 100% disagree.
